80kVAr Units
Capacitor-based wall mount units up to 80kVAr.
Up to 6 steps (capacitors) for correcting lagging power factor. These units can be used to correct a 160A sub-main that is drawing 180A (apparent vs actual power) for localised power usage. Most economical-sized power factor unit if the total kvar required is less than 80kVAr.
Find out what your kVAr is by using the kVAr calculator in the resources tab.
No harmonic blocking reactor, as the low-voltage capacitors in these units don't generate excessive harmonics or heat. Additionally, the reactor will increase the weight and expense of the unit.
